The Ghana Brain Tumor Foundation (GBTF), founded in 2024, aims to be the leading association dedicated to funding brain tumor surgeries for underprivileged individuals and advancing cutting-edge surgical technology in the field of brain surgery within the Ghanaian community.

Volunteer Opportunities
The GBTF works to provide volunteers with opportunities that are aligned with our objective. Look out for volunteering opportunities soon.
Opportunities will be coming up so check back often! Here are some examples of volunteer opportunities.
- GBTF Committee Member: Join a committee of local volunteers who help plan our largest fundraising event for Ghana 2025
- Outreach Volunteer: Raise awareness about Brain Tumors and resources by representing the GBTF at events.
- Skill-Based Volunteer: Support GBTF special projects with your skills, example marketing, social media, videography, photography, and graphic design.

One important part of recovery is social support. The Ghana Brain Tumor understands the importance of emotional wellbeing during this arduous journey and will connect patients to recovery experts.
